Mango Matcha lassi - refreshing yogurt cocktail
Mango lassi ta wonderfully refreshing blend of mashed mango and yogurt. In India, it is often made with cardamom, and here we present a modified version with Matcha beads. A very easy breakfast or just a healthy snack. A great choice for refreshment in hot summer weather.
A bomb of antioxidants and vitamins! Not only super tasty but also super healthy.
Matcha is a "superfood". One cup of this drink gives us energy for the whole day. L-theanine in tea increases the concentration of dopamine and serotonin, which causes a relaxing effect, a great mood and a sense of well-being.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 glass of natural yogurt without additives
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1 1/2 cups peeled and diced fresh mango (preferably very ripe)
- 1/2 tsp MATCH powder
- maple or agave syrup (to taste)
PREPARATION:
1. Add mango pieces to a kitchen blender, add yogurt and coconut milk and blend until smooth.
2. If sweetness is lacking, add maple syrup.
3. Divide the mass into two parts.
4. Add Matcha powder to one portion. Use a sieve to keep the mass free of grains. Depending on the type of Matcha tea, the mass may require more sweetness to balance the taste.
5. Pour both masses into the glass at the same time and decorate.
6. Delicious!
