Matcha granola bars

Morning dose of energy. Cereal, nut and fruit bars are perfect for a quick breakfast or as a healthy snack. The bars can be cut into pieces and added to your favorite yogurt. The taste is fantastic!

A bomb of antioxidants and vitamins! Not only super tasty but also super healthy.

Matcha is a "superfood". One cup of this drink gives us energy for the whole day. L-theanine in tea increases the concentration of dopamine and serotonin, which causes a relaxing effect, a great mood and a sense of well-being.

WHAT WE WILL NEED:

  • 1 cup oatmeal (I used 3-grain)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup seeds (chia, flax, sunflower, etc.)
  • 1/4 cup coconut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup (to taste)
  • 1 spoon MATCHA FOR COCKTAILS
  •  1 glass of dried fruit (cranberries, raisins, figs)

PREPARATION:

  1. Add oatmeal, nuts and seeds to a dry and heated saucepan and mix well. Fry for about 10 minutes, stirring often. You can also use a ceramic pan or bake in an oven heated to 200 degrees C.
  2. Melt the coconut butter and honey in a small bowl. Remove from heat.
  3. Add toasted flakes, dried fruits and Matcha powder to the butter and honey mixture and mix well.
  4. Line a rectangular shape with baking paper and pour the mixture. Press very hard to the bottom. Store in the refrigerator for min. 3 o'clock (Best prepared the day before.)
  5. Cut the bars into rectangular shapes.
  6. Store the bars in the refrigerator.
  7. You can cut the bar into small pieces and add it to yogurt. Great breakfast!
  8. Delicious 🙂
