Matcha puree with pomegranate - thick and nutritious
Matcha puree is very easy to make and is a great choice for a healthy breakfast. A bomb of antioxidants and vitamins! Not only super tasty but also super healthy.
Matcha - "superfood". One cup of this cocktail provides energy for the whole day. L-theanine in tea increases the concentration of dopamine and serotonin, which causes a relaxing effect, great mood and good feeling.
Pomegranates are fruits full of antioxidants and vitamins C, K, B6 and E. Pomegranates, like Matcha, are considered a "treasure" of antioxidants, thanks to which free radicals are removed from the body. This the right choice to give you energy for the whole day.
Spinach contains a lot of iron and antioxidants that fight inflammation and viruses and slow down the aging process. They contain a lot of vitamin A, C, K, folic acid, manganese, magnesium, potassium, calcium.
NOTE: For a creamier consistency, put the spinach and banana in the freezer 1.5 hours before cooking. If you don't like bananas, you can replace it with avocado.
I use dates as a natural sweetener.
YOU WILL NEED:
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 teaspoon Matcha for cocktails powder
- 1 glass of spinach
- 2 dates
- ½ pomegranate
PREPARATION:
- Wash the spinach.
- Pour the almond milk into an electric mixer, add the banana, spinach and chopped dates. Stir until until it becomes a thick mass and no more spinach bits.
- Add the Matcha powder and mix again briefly.
- Spoon the puree into a bowl and add the pomegranate pieces.
- Delicious!
