Green tea MANGO Hojicha, Japanese tea

Japanese green tea MANGO Hojicha is roasted Sencha tea with dried mango pieces. Because the tea leaves are brown and the infusion is orange, it doesn't look like a typical green tea. 

The tea leaves are roasted in pans at a temperature of around 200 °C and immediately cooled. Roasting allows the caffeine to sublimate, making the tea less bitter. Thanks to its mild taste of roasted chestnuts and cocoa, Hojicha tea is very popular with children and the elderly.
