Blueberry Matcha latte - full of antioxidants

Matcha latte is not only a fashionable drink, but also a bomb of antioxidants and vitamins! Not only super tasty, but also super healthy. 

Matcha - "superfood". One cup of this drink gives us energy for the whole day. The L-theanine in tea increases the concentration of dopamine and serotonin, which causes a relaxing effect, a great mood and a sense of well-being. L-Theanine promotes memory and concentration. Matcha is also full of antioxidants. One dose of Matcha tea provides 5 times more antioxidants per day than fruits, green vegetables, dark chocolate or other products.

Blueberries are rich in vitamin K, minerals, fiber and polyphenols, which have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Their use can help improve the condition of the vascular system, reduce the risk of cancer and other age-related diseases.

INGREDIENTS:

ADDITIONALLY:

  • 100 ml of almond or other favorite vegetable milk (coconut, soy) - cold
  • 100 ml of blueberries 
  • ¼ teaspoon maple/agava extract or sugar
  • ½ teaspoon MATCH powder 
  • ice cream
  • strawberries for decoration (optional)

PREPARATION:

  1. Mash the blueberries with agave syrup or sugar.
  2. Put the matcha powder in a bowl (we recommend passing the powder through a sieve to eliminate grains) and add 50 ml of warm water. Using a bamboo whisk, whisk the Matcha vigorously in a "W" motion until air bubbles and foam form. If you don't have a bamboo whisk, you can use a milk whisk or a cocktail shaker. 
  3. Pour the berry mixture into a latte glass or cup. 
  4. Fill the glass with ice.
  5. Pour milk over ice.
  6. Add the prepared Matcha on top. 
  7. Garnish with blueberries and Matcha powder.

ADVICE: IYou can change the proportions of the ingredients according to your wishes. The most important thing to remember is that the sweetest layer should appear at the bottom to maintain the layers of the cocktail. 

PS Instead of blueberries, you can use strawberries, raspberries or other berries.
